Matías, Claudio, Pato, Katy and their loyal dog, Duke, will start their search for their grandfather, Yólotl, who dissapeared without a trace. This will lead them to a great adventure in which they will face ancient civilization mythical creatures and a couple a treasure hunters.
Their grandfather memory will guide them and keep them together in their search for the green medallions secret.

This was Kaxan´s first animation project, and the pipeline was still to be polished. As a consequence, there were many problems to be solved with the rendered image, some of which were aesthetic, and a lot of them involved continuity of lighting and color, and actual render problems where the light sources were too invasive or too strong, rendering images that were almost monochramatic, withou skin tones, and with completely different hues fron one shot to the next.

Thru color grading, we “colored” the whole movie, solving almost all of this problems, and even went beyond, reframing a lot of the shots and applying digital filters to render DOF and rack focus.
