The factory sounds become a symphony of creation and collaboration while BOAOL makes the best furniture in Mexico.

There were multiple challenges on the production of this project:

• The factory never stoped, so we had to work docu-style to shoot the actual factory working.
• A furniture factory is a very noisy and loud space. We had to book several days, at different times of the day, to record and isolate specific sounds for the sound design and composition of the music, which incorporates the actual sounds of tools and the construction process.
• All the living spaces were designed and built as sets on one warehouse next to the factory, and all the talent are relatives of the owners, so we had no experienced models or actors to work with.
• More than half of the factory was extremely dusty, due to the wood dust produced by saws and cutting tools, so we had to constantly dust off camera and gear. Since we shot in summer, the equipment overheated and kept forcing us to make cooling brakes.

It was a very enjoyable project, where we had to mix docu style shooting with fiction shooting, and we are very proud of the outcome.
